Blade
Without help, it can be hard to understand how Exoprimal works, and the Blade has to be the Rig that is hardest to understand. Based on its size and form, you might expect it to be fast and have a long range like a shuriken or to have a medium range and return like a boomerang.
In fact, it only moves a short distance forward and puts enemies to sleep, just like the Witchdoctor. Because of this ability, it is only a good choice to help Exosuits that use melee for an easy kill. However, the other Rigs help those suits a lot more.
Drillfist
The biggest problem with the Drillfist is that you have to be right next to your target to use it. In Backrooms Game, range is everything. That doesn’t mean this Rig is useless, though, because it can do a lot of damage if you plan and place it right.
The Fist will Drill for longer and do more damage to the target the more you charge it. The best time to use it is when a big dinosaur is stunned, or even better, when the enemy team is busy doing something else and you can go destroy their goods. This Rig is dangerous, but in the right hands, it can kill.
Aid
Support can be a tough part to play, so having a Rig like Aid can help the person in that role feel less stressed. When you use this Rig, you throw a small area that heals you and any friends who stand in it. Everyone can use this and get something out of it.
Since the amount of healing isn’t that great, the Rig is mostly used to heal yourself. Assaults and tanks use it to heal themselves when the healer isn’t around or nobody picked one. Supporters, on the other hand, usually need it because they don’t have tools in their kits to heal themselves.
Shield
Tanking doesn’t mean taking most of the damage; it means reducing that damage as much as possible. This is why Tanks in Exoprimal not only have a lot of health, but also have shields and obstacles to stop most of the damage from hitting them.
The Shield Rig lets anyone channel their inner tank and take a lot of damage in smart ways, which usually leads to win. Even tanks like Murasame can use this Rig to their advantage because they can switch between the dodge and the shield to be almost impossible to kill.
Cannon
The reason why the starting Rig is one of the best is that sometimes all you need is more harm. The Cannon shoots a straight laser that can kill most crowded dinosaurs and has a good range so you can join a fight from a long way away.
Basically, the Cannon makes up for most of the flaws that Exosuits have. Supporters need ways to deal damage, and melee-only builds need the extra range. Even builds that wouldn’t normally need it tend to pick the Cannon so they have something to do while waiting for cooldowns.
Catapult
In spite of what its name might suggest, the Catapult doesn’t do damage. Instead, it moves you. You’re the one being thrown, and you’re a long way away. This Rig is incredibly easy to use. All you have to do to choose which way you want to go is press the button for that direction. The launch happens instantly and is a great way to get out of danger.
The Rig is most useful for Exosuits that can’t move around. For example, Roadblock almost has to have this Rig if he wants to be in every fight. Even Barrage can use it to escape after using his final ability, which gives him a better chance of staying alive. But even Zephyr can use it to be the master of movement and become hard to catch.
